The short version
Cancel early, confirm in writing, know the number first
Cancellation terms are part of your quote and booking confirmation, because they depend on the vehicle, the dates and the services already reserved for you. We do not publish one set of percentages here, because a single policy cannot honestly cover a two-hour airport transfer and a fourteen-day tour.
What we will always do: tell you the refund position in writing before you cancel, show any costs already committed on your behalf, and process an agreed refund through the method you originally paid with.
Already booked?
Message us with your booking reference and the dates you can no longer travel. We check what has been committed, confirm what is refundable, and only then treat the booking as cancelled.
Changes instead of cancellations
When plans move rather than disappear
Dates or route change
We requote the trip against the new dates and route. You only pay the difference, and only after you agree to it.
Fewer travellers or less luggage
Let us know — if a smaller vehicle now fits, we adjust the quote before travel rather than after.
Flight delayed or cancelled
Give us the new flight details. We move the pickup with you; extra waiting or an overnight transfer is quoted first.
Weather or road closures
If conditions make a route unsafe or impractical, we agree an alternative with you on the day and confirm any price effect in advance.
Amounts already spent on your behalf — prepaid accommodation, permits, train tickets or a reserved safari jeep — are usually not recoverable, and we will show them separately so you can decide what makes sense.
Need to change a booking
Talk to us before you cancel.
Send your dates and reference — we will confirm what is refundable and whether changing the plan works out better.
